Difficult January

And so January has arrived and the expected slump in sales has come with it. Many providers are selling at extremely cheap prices so there are definitely some bargains to be had.

Some good examples of this are:

Bellhaven Apartments

One of a host of serviced apartments built to accommodate those who came to the 2012 Olympic Games these apartments now benefit from the lasting effect the games has had.

The apartments are operated by Marlin, now a well established name in serviced apartments and you can expect a good standard of apartment for the price you pay.

With Westfield on your doorstep there is so much to do, shopping, cinemas, restaurants and lots of other entertainment within Europe’s biggest shopping centre means that from as low as £55 per night you can enjoy a fantastic short break on a budget, and remember, that price is per apartment, not per person, and includes VAT

City Nites Canary Wharf

Everyone knocks Canary Wharf, especially at weekends, saying it becomes a ghost town etc, but I love it. There are loads of good things to do in Canary Wharf and as it tends to be quieter than other areas of London you can enjoy things with a little less stress.

These apartments are brand new, very modern and really really comfortable. There is a new building being built next to the apartment but this is only going on during office hours and it didn’t have any affect on me when I stayed. Prices start at £88 for a one bedroom and £130 for a two bedroom so again they are good value especially if you are going to the O2 or even if you want to spend time in the West End and get home to somewhere a little quieter.
